Hover your mouse over a candle and get the following information…
This indicator shows you:
- The total candle range only (in pips)…OR
- The body range only (in pips)…OR
- Both of the above at the same time
This indicator also allows you to:
- Determine which corner the text appears in (any of the 4 corners)
- Change the font size of the text
- Adjust the position of the text
- Change the space between the lines
So you can have a small font in the upper left corner…
…or a big font in the lower left corner.
…or whatever works best for you.

Most of the other candle range indicators that I found on the internet show you the range of every single candle, in a graph on the bottom of the chart.
In real-world trading, that's completely unnecessary and takes up valuable space on your screen. Here's how much space one of those indicators can take up.

Indicator Settings Explained
Here's how the settings for our indicator work:Â
- Font size:Â Adjust the font size so you don't have to squint your eyes
- Text color:Â We like gray, but you can choose any color you want
- Text corner:Â Where the text appears on the chart
- Right lower chart corner
- Right upper chart corner
- Left lower chart corner
- Left upper chart corner
- X Offset:Â Select the X-axis indent from the edge of the chart
- Y Offset:Â Select the Y-axis indent from the edge of the chart
- Distance Between Labels:Â Set the distance between the 2 labels
- Range Type:Â Select which range(s) you want to see
- Total range only
- Body range only
- Both
