The Recurring Time Marker and Alert System for Your MT5 Charts
MetaTrader 5 still uses broker server time on their charts.
That's convenient for the brokers, but it's super confusing for traders.
You have to first convert the Forex market open and close times to your broker's server time.
Then you have to convert the broker's server time to your local time, so you know when to trade.
It's easy to do that once, but it can be hard to remember the correct time in the future.
On top of that, if you start testing a new trading strategy, it can be easy to mix up all of the times.
…and daylight savings time makes things even more confusing.
Here's the simple solution that will ensure that you always know the right times to trade…
Solve Timezone Confusion
The Time Marker and Alert Indicator for MetaTrader 5 allows you to mark a specific time on your chart and that time will be marked on all future and past dates.
For example, if you trade the New York Open, you can set a marker at the New York Open time, so you know exactly when you should be trading.
No more converting the timezones in your head.
You can also send optional push notifications to your mobile phone, so you have a daily reminder that you should get to your computer to start trading.
If you want a little buffer, set the alert 30 minutes before the market open so you have some time to check the charts before the action starts.
When there's a daylight savings time change, simply adjust the indicator on your chart and you're all set.
Always Know Your Trading Times While Traveling
If you travel a lot, it can be difficult to adjust to new timezones.
Let's say that you usually start trading at 9pm when you're at home.
But in your new timezone, your usual trading time is at noon.
That can be disorienting.
On top of that, the new environment and the jetlag can all contribute to the confusion.
That's where the Time Marker and Alert Indicator can help.
Slap the indicator on your MT5 chart and it will send a notification to your phone at your desired time.
It's basically a trading alarm clock.

Add Your Own Label
You can add a custom label to the time marker and that's what will appear in your alert.
Here are some frequently used labels that traders use:
- Asian Open
- London Open
- New York Open
- New York Close
But don't limit yourself to just those times.
Create a marker/alert at any time you want.
The Habit Builder for New Traders
If you're just getting started in Forex, then this indicator can also help you into the habit of checking your charts at the right times.
For example, let's say that you want to trade the London Open.
Simply set a marker on your MT5 chart at the London Open time and send an alert to your phone.
The indicator will send you an alert at that same time every day, so you remember to check your charts.
After a couple of weeks, you'll get into the habit of checking your charts at the London Open.
This is especially useful if you have a demanding job and sometimes forget to check your charts.
Mark Market Sessions During Live Trading and Backtesting
Trading market open times can provide many opportunties.
But only if you have a proven strategy.
It takes backtesting to create that strategy.
This indicator will mark the same time every day, for all previous days on your chart.
It makes it easy to see the same time every day, without those annoying boxes that other time-based indicators create.
Get more accurate backtesting results by double checking that you're trading at the right times.
When you move a profitable trading strategy from backtesting into live trading, you'll be able to use the same indicator and have a smooth transition.

That's why I've worked with a professional developer to create this indicator.
